TYPES OF CLASSES OFFERED
Our kickboxing classes are a great way to get a sweat on. Are you looking to lose weight? Tone up? Join an exciting fitness class? Compete? Kickboxing is for you! Our fun and challenging kickboxing classes are for all fitness types and any experience level.
We always start with a warm up to get your blood flowing. We then use a combination of punching bags, mitts, muay thai pads, and many other tools to facilitate one of the best workouts around. We mix in light conditioning by incorporating body weight exercises, kettlebell and free weight exercises, and core focused exercises.
Being safe and knowledgeable before joining a kickboxing class is extremely important to us. Prior to joining, we ask that you take a free one on one class with an instructor. This class is typically 30 minutes long. During this one on one, you will learn how to wrap your hands, how to perform a few fundamental techniques, and experience a short but fun workout!

*Sparring is held after class for competition fighters only.
Our kids learn the same techniques the adults do but with a focus on discipline, attitude, teamwork and leadership. We use body weight exercises, grappling dummies, soft kick shields, child specific mitts and blockers to teach various kicks, punches, and grappling techniques.

Coach Rich carries over 20 years of grappling experience and is accompanied by a group of accomplished instructors, who have many accomplishments nationally and internationally in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Strong Style Martial Arts is an affiliate of Jeremy Mahon’s W4R Training Center and is recognized as one of the best BJJ/ MMA schools in the area.
Our BJJ program is designed for a wide variety of individuals with various goals in mind. A combination of techniques with a focus on fundamentals is utilized to empower students physically, mentally, and spiritually. The BJJ program allows everyone to train and learn at their own level and at their own pace. BJJ is all inclusive and is a great tool for all aspect of your life no matter your background
BJJ will help build your strength, coordination, flexibility and most importantly your mind. The challenges and problems you face on the mat will help you remain calm and confident at both work and play. Our program is a great compliment to our kickboxing program or any other martial art. We welcome all enthusiastic individuals whether you are experienced or it is your very first day.
